I bought this kit to learn amigurumi because a lot of people rave on them on YT. The seller is very lovely but after days of trying, this kit is just isn't for me. My main problem is that the tutorials are very confusing, made worse by distractions and extra talking in the videos. I understand that the seller is trying to relate with the customers, but it's so hard to follow when there are so much talking with each step. It isn't really beginner friendly as well because it wasn't shown how to hold the yarn, the hook, etc. Also, she tends to do the steps while talking so it got me lost so many times. I bought the magic ring guide and it didnt help either - I had to search countless of videos on YT to learn how to do the magic ring without the guide. The hook isn't the most comfortable either. We are beginners, we are learning so it will be nice to be shown how to hold the yarn and hook when starting out. Telling us to find what's comfortable isn't really comfortable. The pacing of the videos is also very fast along with chattiness. I'm glad others learned and enjoyed doing Lousy Llama's kits, but it's not the case for me and I'm sharing you my experience.
I was looking for left handed crochet projects, and came across this cute jellyfish from youtube. I'm so glad I bought the kit and the magic ring card thingie! It came out wicked cute! Thank you for making adorable left handed projects! This gave me the confidence to try more amigurumi.
