Love the design, trouble still with magic circle!

I love the design of the kit I got and was able to follow the step by step instructions for the top of my cone but now I'm stuck on the actual cone. Mostly because the yarn is pretty hard to see my stitches as a beginner. It frays a bit when you frog any of your project back. Other than those issues and that might be a me problem. I love the kit! The videos are very informative.
